🎬Kevin Hooks is an Emmy award winning producer/director & photographer whose career spans almost four decades. During his career Hooks has helmed episodes of some of television's most popular shows including the NBC series ‘This Is Us’, NatGeo’s ‘Genius:Picasso’ & ‘Genius:Einstein’, AMC’s ‘Preacher’, Hulu’s ‘Castle Rock’, and ‘Punisher’ for Netflix, and the Showtime limited Series ‘The Good Lord Bird’ starring Ethan Hawke.

🎟 Among his feature credits is the 1992 box office hit 'Passenger 57' starring Wesley Snipes.

🎞 In 2016 Kevin directed the six-hour BET mini-series 'Madiba', starring Laurence Fishburne as Nelson Mandela, earning his fourth NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Direction.

📺 Hooks has also served as executive producer on a number of prime-time series, most notably the FOX hit show 'Prison Break'.

📸 Most recently, Kevin has shifted his creative focus to his photography. Shooting predominantly in B&W, Kevin’s work focuses on what he describes as ‘architectural street photography’, and a little portraiture as well. “I try to find moments of ordinary life taking place in the context of strong architectural elements. In contrast, I also love exploring the intimacy and connection to a subject that portraiture offers. It’s very therapeutic.”
