A little bit of history
Education is key and so I strived to learn from the absolute best in the entertainment industry. My musical formation began at a very early age learning classical piano, moving onto jazz and other contemporary styles. I went to a couple Berklee College of Music Summer Sessions before continuing my education at the world renown Dick Grove School of Music. It was considered the top Hollywood musician’s school in getting students ready for a career in entertainment. Touring, recording, composition, film scoring, you name it. We prepared for it.

My teachers were Grammy nominated 19 times, won twice and also won Emmy and Tony Awards. I am very proud of my training at this school and eternally grateful that they passed their techniques to me and the other students.

I also studied with some of the best private teachers in the industry. Seth Riggs, Michael Goodrich, Jennifer Goodrich, Dave Stroud and more. These are some of the top vocal coaches in Hollywood.

I was part of the Speech Level Singing Advisory Group and in charge of making sure the Southern California SLS teachers maintained their education and understood this technique. SLS is considered the top contemporary music technique and has more than 130 Grammy winners who have studied it.

There is no substitute for good training.
