As Hair and Beauty professionals we are taught about physical health and safety and nothing about mental health and safety. However, we deal with clients mental health daily, being front facing to the communities we serve and consistently present at their emotions highs and lows. My mission is to ensure everyone in the Hair and Beauty industry has the skills to feel confident and comfortable in these situations and therefore encourage mental well-being and prevent suicide.
