Through coincidence work, through contemplative practices like compassion and nature connection, and through music, I seek to help others and to build a more kind, connected, and sustainable world for all peoples and for all beings.

I am the Managing Director of The Coincidence Project, dedicated to increasing the use and understanding of coincidence, synchronicity and serendipity across the globe. Coincidences help to enhance meaning in people’s lives, increase interconnectedness, expand our understanding of reality, and develop optimizing visions for humanity and all beings. I am also a trained meditation teacher, with a focus on compassion, nature connection and mindfulness. I have taught and led seminars, college courses, K12 teacher courses, talks, workshops and keynotes across the US and in England, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Rwanda. I’m a trained Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher and a trained Vision Quest Guide (nature-based rites of passage). I have a PhD in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Virginia. My dissertation used emotional intelligence and grassroots/distributed leadership models to create a psychological profile of the hubs/central connectors of networks. Study: “Network Enablers: High Goal-Enabling Professionals in Higher Education” (2016)
