Artist, future Psychologist, Student Indianapolis Native
Bryant Clayton, known artistically as B. Harms is a singer, rapper, producer, and playwright from Indianapolis Indiana. Writing thought provoking and genre fluid music over a decade, Harms has crafted his sound to evoke soulfulness, innovation, experimentation, and healing. As a clinical psychologist in training, Harms recognizes the utility of music as a medium of expression, catharsis, dialogue, processing, reflection, and identity formation, which he hopes his listeners can relate to.
In 2019, Harms refined his skills as a producer, singer, and song writer, releasing "Fleeting Energy" as the first single to his debut album "Chords", the album he dubbed "The story of Love in 2019".
In 2020, Harms released "Baghdad", a jarring single comparing internal spiritual warfare with the external wars around us. The follow up single "Beautiful Death" continued the study of personality and spirituality through the context of death and suicide. Partnering with long-time fellow producer and rapper Soul Jones, Harms formed the collective, The AVENU, releasing the single "The Median", commenting on police brutality.
