Today, Deena has established herself in the industry as a successful salon owner, team builder, and a leader in education. Deena has always had a desire to share her expertise and knowledge with others, which prompted her to create Von Savvy Academy.
Von Savvy Academy was created with purpose by a woman who started her career with vision and determination. Deena began this Academy to teach what she's learned and pay it forward, beyond simply acquiring new techniques. She believes wholeheartedly in creating one's independence and crafting your unique future. 
The Academy specializes in advanced level training for licensed hair stylists, make-up artists, salon operators and owners. It will teach subjects and techniques in advanced color, advanced cutting and styling, make-up, salon operations, advertising, marketing, social media, sales, event coordinating, event production, public speaking, photography, videography, entertainment and talent.
Looking into the future, Deena has a passion to leave a legacy that runs deeper than salon business and education. After launching Von Savvy Academy, Deena plans to start a organization called Scissors and Combs, which will take to the streets of San Diego and seek out individuals who may need help unlocking their potential. Scissors and Combs will fundraise the means to provide scissors and combs to people who do not have access to these tools, and Deena will pair the tools with sharing educational basics of hair styling. She wants to empower people who may not have had the opportunity to learn such a skill that can help them live purposeful, successful lives.
