Stephen Moody, Director - North American Education 
Wella Company 


 
Stephen Moody is one of the world’s foremost educators of professional hairdressers. A 31-plus-year veteran of the Sassoon Salon and Academy organization, Stephen is currently the Education Director - North America for the Wella Company.
Over the last six years, Stephen has delivered his “TripleCraft the art of Color, Cut and Finish Transformation” education throughout the Wella Professional network, including training stylists in Sao Paulo, Milan, Chicago, Paris,  Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, Rotterdam, Frankfurt, Moscow, Toronto, Mexico City, Denver, Istanbul, Seoul, NYC, Johannesburg, Singapore, Vancouver,  Stockholm, Ottawa, Boston, Stockholm, Costa Rica and Cape town.   
Stephen has developed a new and proprietary Wella Professional cutting methodology called “Wella Cut Craft.” This system shares how to approach cutting hair with purpose and intent, which opens for the professional limitless creative possibilities while it connects seamlessly to coloring and styling hair. This revolutionary approach arms stylists with the intellectual and creative tools to increase their earning potential over an entire career. 
Stephen was recently awarded the prestigious Intercoiffure Hair Cutting Icon Award in NYC.
With the advent of COVID-19 Stephen has pivoted by developing, sharing and delivering education via the virtual platform across multiple countries.
Stephen has become a finalist in the prestigious North American Hairstylist Awards 2021 as Educator of the Year + Haircutter of the Year.

A native of Great Britain, Stephen lives in Malibu, California, with his family.
