Bio

I’m a classically trained violinist who ventured into the folk world long ago and never left. I also have a passion for dogs, specifically Anatolian Shepherd Dogs, and as I’m something of a self taught tech head I’m also working on the new website for the Anatolian Shepherd Dog Club of America!

I play at Renaissance Faires with my Guild, Laughing Dragon, a Gypsy Guild, and I am often invited to join the Storytellers of San Diego at different events, such as the Highland Games (for example), but honestly? I’ll follow the Storytellers anywhere! It’s great fun to add music and sound effects to stories and be a part of that kind of performance magic!

I’m working on an album of originals, and perhaps when things are more open to performing live I’ll do more of that again. I had the opportunity to perform with two of my absolute favorite musicians as Blackthorns Maritime Band, for a fund raiser, and I’m blessed to be able to join them from time to time in other configurations and styles of music.

One of my bands has 2/3 of the members living in Austin, TX at the moment, but we haven’t completely given up on our collaboration, the music is too good to do that!
