Bio

Dr.Gurram Seetaramulu is a poet, editor, writer and political analyst. He is currently a doctoral research fellow, working on oral literary history of Dalit societies at the School of Interdisciplinary Studies in the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad.Finished his Doctoral degree. He is engaged in translation of Telugu Dalit literature into English and has presented papers at national and international conferences.
He has extensively contributed his articles to various Telugu dailies and journals on different political occasions. He presented papers in national and international seminars both in India and abroad. His response to the social inequalities and discrimination that he faced shaped in him a story teller and a poet.
He analyzed the society not only from academic perspective but also from the standpoint of real-life social realities. What really shaped his consciousness is liberation from social exploitation, inequalities and injustice faced by millions of Dalits throughout the history.
