Black history month poem

IM A THREAT
I am dangerous
I am a threat
I am hated by most and loved by few.
snatched up from a proud nation of kings just to be put in chain of those who are afraid we may learn the truth about our linage
Those who shoot on sight because the fact that too black too strong may mean the last of their kind.
We have forged a place in this nation so deep that they limit our history to one month in a year and two chapters in a history book.
The one group of people where the language was plucked from our mouths because the words we spoke…. spoke the truth.
At one time if i told that mountain to throw itself in the sea it would.
We are Kings amongst those who seek to steal not take with permission the truth away.
We must look into our own DNA and history book to find out whats been missing from our armor.
400 years of chipping away at what was built to withstand a life time.
Once we learn that we are the builders of nations,
from the Carbon Filament For The Light Bulb
To The Artificial Heart Pacemaker Control Unit .
from The Modern Home-Video Gaming Console,
to 3-D Graphics Technology Used in Films.
With all this knowledge??!!!
yes of course we are considered a danger.
we are a threat.
cause Knowledge is power.
and were not through yet!
