My name is Brandon, artist name "GODZPEN", and I'm a 31 year-old Singer/Songwriter from Panama City, FL. At a young age, I remember making beats, writing songs, and recording them on my Walkman. Even as a child, there was this passion for music deep within my soul and I always dreamt of becoming a successful Singer & Songwriter. Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, Kirk Franklin, Musiq Soulchild, Michael Jackson, and many other artists contributed to my musical aspirations. Being raised by my Grandmother, who was a devote follower of Jesus Christ, I had a natural love and admiration for Gospel Music, but I also grew up listening to R&B, Hip Hop, Pop and even Country Music. You can hear notes of all these genres throughout my catalog. I spent a great deal of years exploring my sound & style as an artist, and in 2019, God gave me the name GODZPEN; which symbolizes my musicality as being God-Inspired. As a Singer & Songwriter, I take pride in being versatile, while also remaining authentically true to myself as an artist. Who is GODZPEN? GODZPEN is just the super-confident, adventurous, and creative side of Brandon.
