Canada-Hong Kong Link 港加聯 (CHKL) is a not-for-profit and non-partisan organization established in 1997 working to foster community involvement among Canadian residents who are interested in the affairs of Hong Kong.
Main Objectives
a) Developing and fostering community spirit for residents of Canada who are former residents of Hong Kong or who are interested in the affairs of Hong Kong;
b) Providing information to members and protecting their rights and privileges as residents of Hong Kong and/or Canada;
c) Strengthening the cultural, educational and economic ties between the residents of Canada and residents of Hong Kong;
d) Sponsoring cultural and educational events for the promotion of prosperity and security in Hong Kong; and
e) Securing public support in Canada for the protection and furtherance of human rights, freedom, rule of law and democracy in Hong Kong.
