I’m the Founder/Lead Instructor for the Kids Explore Japan program based in Midtown Detroit.

The Kids Explore Japan program's primary objective is to introduce Japanese language and culture to it's participants in an impactful and engaging manner. The program seeks to bridge the educational gap by providing youth access to one of the most challenging languages in the world, broadening their horizons, challenging their brains, improving cognitive and social development all while enhancing future career opportunities. With the rapid globalization of our society, our underrepresented youth must learn the benefit of connecting with other cultures beyond the realities they immediately perceive and/or experience. It is our goal to spark a curiosity in their minds to explore Japan and eventually the rest of the world.
