Gary is a proven business leader, growth strategist and professional speaker who is passionate about developing individuals and organizations achieve personal and professional excellence. He has over three decades of experience leading, coaching and training individuals and teams resulting in improved team dynamics and communications, effective sales skills, and applying proven leadership strategies. Gary is certified as a DISC Human Behavioral Analysis Consultant and ADKAR Change Management practitioner. Gary earned his MBA from Bradley University with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership, and holds the designation of Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF®) from The American College. Over the course of his career, he has held several corporate and non-profit leadership positions, advised over 300 small business owners, served as a Small Business Mentor with SCORE and is a former adjunct professor at Lincoln College, teaching strategic management and organizational leadership. As Founder and CEO of APPEX Partners, Gary is dedicated to his client's growth and success, helping them achieve their goals while positively impacting their community. Organizations, managers, sales leaders, and their teams have learned to manage conflict, effectively communicate their value, add value, and work together to achieve greater success. He has conducted workshops and delivered keynote addresses for numerous private and not-for-profit organizations, delivering practical, next-day strategies leveraging proven leadership methods. He is an Executive Director with The John Maxwell Team, certified as a speaker, trainer and coach, an award-winning Toastmaster, and presently serves as Area 32, District 54 Toastmasters International Area Director. Gary has been mentored by some of the world’s greatest authorities in leadership and personal development such as Zig Ziglar, Cavett Robert and John Maxwell. His professional memberships include the Academy of Management, National Speakers Association, the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, and the Society of Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriters.
