Civil engineer with focus on natural resource and watershed management.
Co-founder of Hawai’i Royal Hemp with my master, genius farmer husband, Clarence Baber. We have a farm on Hawaii (Big) Island.
Have volunteered 8,000+ hours to preserve coastal open space with the highest concentration of intact archeological and cultural sites in Hawai’i.
Clarence worked diligently for decades and coordinated passing the legislation for Hawai’i’s hemp pilot program and we continue to refine our Hawaii rules to make them more farmer friendly and support local community economic development.
Co-founded Hawaii Hemp Council in 1990 and Hawaii Organic Farmers Association.
We know a thoughtfully structured hemp and cannabis industry will support food security for Hawaii, which currently imports 95% of its food.
