"Profile of Hakeem Nasif"
My name is Abdul Hakeem Nasif, however people know me as “Hakeem Nasf”, Borned on 3rd October 1964 at Hyderabad (Pakistan). I did B.com, B.sc (physiology), L.L.B, M.A (Economics), M.B.A (Marketing).Professionally attached with pharmaceutical sales & marketing industry for last 22 years.
I am greatly inspired with my father (Late) Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Qureshi. He used to write many articles in a local published magazine “Al Mustufa”.
I started to composed poetry and wrote children stories when I was in class fifth. I used to write for in “BachchoN ki Dunya”, “Nau Nehaal”, Daily “Jasarat” and local children magazines.when I studied “Diwan-e-Ghalib”, it stimulated certain sparkles in my life, and meanwhile fortunately I met with Mr.Wajid Saeedi, who was a renowned and experienced poet of Hyderabad and was brother in law of professor Inayat Ali Khan, who helped me to compose poetry accordingly. Besides him I learned a lot by Mr. Munawer Minaie, Inayat Ali Khan and Anwer Brelvi. I have a natural influence towards wit & humor. So my above mentioned teachers encouraged me a lot. Akber Ila Abadi”,Nazeer Akbar Abadi and Dilawer Figar are my favorite poets. In prose, I studied Azeem Baig Chughtaie, Patras Bukhari, Ibne Insha, Mushtaq Ahmed Yousufi and others. In facts these are the greatest personalities to whom I learned the techniques which are actually required for the creation of humor.
I was adabi page incharge of daily Safeer Hyderabad during 1988 to 1990. I started to write articles for daily Qaumi Akhbar which was highly admired. I wrote for “Maah-e-Nau”, Sham’a Dehli, Akhbar-e-JahaN, Pasban Hyderabad.
I have also a natural instrumental tendency towards music, I learned singing by Ustad Zaheer Ahmed warsi and ustad shafi.
I wrote dramas for Dhoom tv, “Nani jan ki kahani” for QTV and also shown and performed my acting skills as well.
I conducted many programs as anchor. I started “Muskurata Adab” in Metro One Tv, “Ghair siyasi adab” in Business plus tv, “ShokhiyaaN” in Ptv Home and “Wah Wah” in CNBC Pakistan. I got amazingly pleasant response by viewers and these encouraged me to move little bit ahead. I used to recite a large number of Mushaira throughout Pakistan and abroad in public auditoriums and electronic media.
Nowadays, from last 2 years, doing “kya kare ga Qazi” on GTV news,
