Bio

Rob Price joined School of Rock as CEO in June of 2017. The company teaches musical proficiency through individual instruction, but also transforms lives through performance-based education. Students work as ensembles to put on real shows in real venues. Since joining, the company has grown dramatically to a peak of 40,000 students. In the last three years, the global footprint has expanded to 290 schools in 10 countries.
While some schools are directly operated, most are franchised. Price is proud to be a vocal advocate for franchisees, whose courage and risk-taking enrich local communities.

Price is also proud that SoR is one of the largest employers of musicians in the world. Providing career growth to creators is a core company objective. Additionally, the company partners will the Society for the Prevention of Teenage Suicide.

Prior to School of Rock, Price served as President of Edible Arrangements, which integrated an online business and 1,300 franchised stores worldwide at the time of his departure. At Edible, Price drove growth through advancements to supply chain and product development. Before that, he was SVP, Chief Marketing Officer at CVS Health for nearly eight years. At CVS, Price oversaw the consumer rollout of the flu shot programming, the introduction of the Minute Clinic consumer branding, format development, and the popular Extracare program - considered by many as one of the world's most successful CRM programs. During Price’s tenure, CVS more than doubled in size to over $120 billion in revenue.

Price has also held executive roles at Wawa Food Markets and H-E-B Grocery, and began his career as a management consultant with Monitor Company.

Price was a member of the Alumni Board at Harvard Business School, where he earned his MBA with highest academic honors. He graduated with a BS in Applied Economics from Cornell University, was a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and was a Henry Crown Fellow and Richard Braddock Scholar at the Aspen Institute.
