Philadelphia based company that creates custom meal plans based off of individuals’ nutritional needs, however they are not the only thing in the equation. Buen Provecho is looking to bridge the gap between functional medicine and food. A perfect example would be someone with an iron deficiency that is also on blood thinners; instead of having this person eat more red meat, it is actually best for them to avoid red meat and increase their protein through white meat like fish, chicken or turkey, as well as increase their consumption of green/dark colored vegetables.
Good, clean, natural food, is the pathway to health, it’s the foundation for a body and mind to work as they should, and when it’s in balance, you can do anything you imagines. Like live well and live happy. I believe that anyone has the power to make a global impact on health and nutrition and we aim to bring people along the journey through education, transparency, culinary arts, and community. With no processed ingredients you can pronounce, and an education program that helps others learn how to change their food choices more often.
