Formerly based in NYC and originally from Israel. Iβve been performing and recording internationally as an improvising violinist collaborating with musicians in the genres of jazz, rock, Malian music, Tigrinyan music and Indian music.
My project βIma Expressβ takes the guitar driven West-African Sebene music and incorporates it in my jazz influenced compositions.
Winner of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation grant and 3rd prize winner of the international Seifert Competition for jazz violin.
