2018 – 21 Board member of largest parents organization in Germany; hot topics right now: After many months of missed in-class lectures, huge gaps have developed in children’s education across all ages and school forms. How can these gaps be closed so that new knowledge can be taught in the coming years?

Considering the little that was actually taught during the Corona pandemic - How can we be sure that knowledge sticks and can be applied correctly?

Bottom line: Almost all didactics (at least in Germany) are based on in-person schooling. There are virtually no didactics with modern media (DMM). What are the lessons learned in other countries regarding DMM, who is ahead on the learning curve and can share such DMM?

While the illustration about the problem is based on the German experience, there is no doubt that the same problems exist in other countries.
