PHOTOGRAMS

Karen Fishof stages compelling scenes on photo paper in the darkroom, by putting black and white photo paper on the floor and posing people, objects and text on the paper with the people laying down on the floor. She then exposes the scene to light, and develops the photo paper. Not only is the process unique, each image tells its own story and we are compelled to participate in it.

NFTs

Karen has added NFTs to her creative arsenal. Aside from her BFA in painting, she also has a degree in computer graphics and has been working as a graphic designer for over 20 years. She had in the past, used those skills for helping brands promote themselves creating websites, logos, brochures etc. When she got wind of the NFT boom, she dived in leaning on her love of color and design.

She’s recently dropped a 10,000 PFP Collection to provide water to over 4,000 people in Cameroon Africa. The NFT collection is the first to have an associated fashion line and of course utility for holders at GoofBalls.io

MOD WALL ART

Karen founded Mod Wall Art to solve the problems of large scale art installations. The pieces are modular so they can fit through any doorway and are easy to ship. The designs are encased in one inch thick, museum grade acrylic and look like floating glass. What’s great about these pieces is that they can scale horizontally or vertically to fit any wall and still fit in a small space for transport. Karen has created hundreds of designs, incorporating various colors, patterns and themes as well as utilizing photos from nature, sports, music and the like. They can be created for bespoke, site-specific installations in any shape or size.

Karen has designed window displays for Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Dress Barn Stores and and major music labels, Sony, BMG, Universal, Warner, album art for Ringo Starr, backdrops for celebrity appearances as well as fashioned licensed products for Kraft Foods, Simon Malls, Crayola, Nickelodeon, Imax, Cartoon Network and Gameboy.
