If you have grown two or more crops of cannabis at latitudes higher than Tijuana is at, you have almost certainly used a technique and/or technology that I have brought to the (I can't resist.) field of cannabiculture.
I spent the late-Spring and early-Summer of 1971 playing Michael Marijuanaseed. Starting out with over a pound of seeds I was, almost certainly one of the first 100 people to plant pot almost anywhere in Northern Cali or Southern Oregonthat people grow pot today.
I am, provenly the originator of the Sea of Green and True Screen of Green (not all scrogging is True Screen of Green.) If you've grown under a Hortilux lamp or an "umbrella style reflector," used a ceramic metal halide or ceramic high pressure sodium, supplemented UV, speculated, in writing, about the potential uses of LEDs in growing cannabis, used raw evaporated sugarcane juice as a rejuvenant for sick plants, did the extended dark AT THE FLIP to bring flowering on faster or shorten the "stretch," I influenced your growing.
Along with Kevin Bjornson, owner of Hydro-Tech (originally in Seattle) we had a column--"The Farmer in the Sky"--that ran in Sinsemilla Tips: Domestic Growers Journal from 1980 -1988 and put out a book--"Growing Indoors for Fun and Profit" in 1985.
I have been an active supporter of the causes I believe in all my life. I became a Life Member of NORML in 1979 and in the years before I got taken down for the highest plant count (12,000) of anyone in Phase I of Operation Green Merchant I had "put my money where my mouth was" to the tune of @ $250,000 in mostly anonymous donations to cannabis "normalization."
I was in the "penalty box from 28October1989 until 24February2005 except for 11 months in '95-'96.
I am currently looking for patrons or investors or clients. The first for research, the second for a major disruption in the growlighting industry and the third for facility design and/ or process improvement in cannabis cultivation.
