Bio

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Cousia Towns has been a successful entrepreneur and author between two states, Texas and Georgia. She owned Colucci’s Hair Design, the CEO of Amore Transitional Group, Inc., and owner of both Exposed the Book Company and Cousia Towns The Beauty Company. With over 30 years of experience in the business industry, Cousia is able to combine her passion with the purpose, achieving an innovative platform.

Through life’s obstacles Cousia overcame the murder of her mother, being raised in the foster care system as a ward of the state, both sexual abuse and domestic violence. It was her God-given vision that built the foundation and passion to Pay It Forward back to the community.

Starting her career as a professional stylist, Cousia worked her way into some of the best hair salons in the Atlanta area. The journey continued when she founded the nonprofit, Amore Transitional Group, Inc. in 2009. This organization is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of young adults emancipated from foster care, to include at-risk, in crisis, disadvantaged, and underprivileged through education, skill building, and self-empowerment. Amore is in partnership with Cousia Towns The Beauty Company established in 2020. Collaborating with others home base serves as the “Beauty for the Broken.”

Based on her true story and written by Cousia Towns, is the theatrical production EXPOSED. The ongoing play act has been rolling since 2018. This short story’s message is incredibly impactful. “In life many have experienced the same sufferings but we have to EXPOSE what we compartmentalize or it will resurface in hardships or relationships.”  Through experience and deliverance you have a PURPOSE! ”I stand in the gap of silence of Unmasking Generational Consequences.”
