There are about 10,000 stars per grain of sand on Earth. There are about 20 times as many stars as there are in the observable universe. There are anywhere between 2 and 20 trillion galaxies. There are 100,000 times more planets than grains of sand. Around 5 to 50 million plant species are undiscovered. The high estimate of 50 million is likely attributed to overlooked micro habitats and ecosystem damage. 18,000 species of animals are discovered each year. An estimated 5 to 10 million animal species are yet to be found. There are 300,000 edible plant species on earth. 70% of the earth’s oxygen comes from the ocean, 28% comes from rainforests.
