Long before I earned my Eagle Scout award, I was already a leader. I excelled under my own rules often, at the edge of what was expected and what is overachieved. My Eagle Scout was almost denied because my project had been TOO big, more than double the recommended hours.

An initial 3 year study of Construction Engineering, comprised of civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering with project management mixed in for aggregate solidified my creative spirits but left me disheartened in the lack of consideration for waste product management.

I followed my Scouting inclinations to a degree in Recreation Management - facilities design & maintenance, event planning, historic interpretation, and leadership theory. Here, I first learned about Sustainability in 1997. It would guide my moving goalpost for the next 25 years.

This path led me to manage the adventures of the Telluride Technology Festival for 7 years of monkey-wrench conversations with the inventors of things we all take for granted today: the Transistor, the Halogen Bulb, the Laser, the Atomic Bomb, the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence... and of course Nikola Tesla’s Alternating Current ⚡️

Thus: ⚡️ I am the inventor of a patent-pending adapter system for the conversion of gas-powered motorcycles to electric drive, and also the accompanying system for a modular, upgradable electric motorcycle ecosystem.
