J*La-Roc is a Jersey city born Puerto Rican who was destined to connect to her culture through Hip Hop. She specializes in Freestyle connection, having falling for Hip Hop at a early age, she was fortunate to meet the legendary crew from New Jersey, NBk Jersey City . At the age of 16 she began training extensively in Latin styles including Salsa, Bomba, and Mambo. Dealing with depression and other unfortunate circumstances, she overcame limiting thoughts through the power of dance.

J*La-RoC is most known for her battle presence, she has entered countless competitions within the tristate area, she was honored to win international events like, Ladies of Hip Hop Breakin’ division, Evolution NYC and Who Came to Serve 2 - Mexico. From there it spiraled into other ways to express her feminine essence. House, Waacking, latin and Hip Hop etc. She continues to develop a new way of viewing the dance, closely connected to spirituality. She has appeared in dance productions such as “Breakside Story” NJPAC and Ladies of Hip Hop “Adios Love”. J*La-Roc continues to grow in other art forms such as writing, acting and modeling. Her recent appearance as a lead in Taino Theatre: Bully the Bully Artists against hate brought on awareness of social injustice within the community. J*La-Roc wishes to continue creating and developing her craft while making sure she takes responsibility of changing the world for the better.
