Bio

Catholic Priest: Performer, Presenter & Producer & Lover of the Virgin Mary, Franciscan, and ex-Wanna-Be Gangsta. He is the founder of El Padrecito Ministries (www.elpadrecito.org), based in Guadalupe, Ca., and provides arts programs for children, youth and young adults, and has both a local and international outreach. He is brother to HOMIES artist David Gonzales, thus the name El Padrecito from the HOMIES character “El Padrecito,” which was originally based on him. Additionally, Fr. Masseo has traveled and performed at the largest youth conferences in the country, NCYC, El Sembrador, Archdiocese of NY, LA, etc., including performing at two World Youth Days (Brazil and Panama). He has produced numerous music videos, primarily with Catholic hip hop group, FoundNation, and has produced music. He has an undergraduate degree in Chicano Studies from Pitzer College of the Claremont Colleges, two Master Degrees (M.Div and Theology), studied for six months at the University of Seville, Spain, has traveled extensively to Asia, Latin America and Western and Eastern Europe, and is still a bumbling fool... saved only by the Blood of Christ.
