Bio
I'm an American who started teaching English as an Additional Language in 2009 and have been working with different communities and learning from their various cultures ever since.
After attempting to learn the Dravidian language Malayalam, I learned about the massive lack in resources and educational materials for not only Malayalam, but many of the hundreds of living languages across the Indian Continent. Through my efforts to create approachable teaching materials, it led to the realization that the narrative of communities has the power to be rewritten through social media.
I believe in autonomy, equity, and accessibility.
