“Of night and light and the half-light” (W.B. Yeats)
I am between worlds, the holy and the profane, Heaven and Earth, light and dark, I am a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reaching to heaven; and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. a story of half-light, the space between day and night, of a formless void,
And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the abyss.
“There is nothing more whole than a broken heart, just as there is nothing more straight than a crooked ladder.” - The Kotzker Rebbe.
