ECOPOESIS Founder💀: We engage ecological emotions, stories, and form making through spatial practice. Exploring the materiality of stories through more-than-human and human ecologies globally, we initiate and curate collective works towards awareness of our emotions and thoughts - towards an expansive, intimate, and activist ecological consciousness. 🌏
“How We Hear Now,” an ECOPOESIS 2020 sound/text installation, records the pandemic through varied human observations of local/nonlocal Ecologies. www.architecturalecologieslab.cca.edu/ECOPOESIS/how-we-hear-now
In 2019-20 we have given invited talks about our creative approach to narrative and community building in person and via Zoom at the Maldives National University; UC-Santa Barbara; Vanderbilt University; the International Conference for Ecological Arts Therapies (Russia); and became fellows of the Al Balad residency in Saudi Arabia. We teach and lead seminars for colleges, companies, and nonprofits.
🌊We are each born creative. Creativity is an accessible ecology for each of us. 🌊In my own creative practice, one aspect is helping other creatives - in all disciplines - with the process and pragmatics of passion projects
🌸Books and the spatial practice of narrative
🔥Everyone has a story to tell, I help you tell it mindfully and well. 🙏

Some of my latest thoughts (2020) on eco-activism are in “Performing Ice” - my chapter The Gigaton Ice Theater looks at Greenpeace in Antarctica and the quest to “save” the “world.”(published by Palgrave Macmillan, edited by Elizabeth Leane, Carolyn Philpott, and Matt Delbridge)
