Bio

For more than three decades, I have been passionate about investing in and building companies. The culmination of that experience was the launch of Cresset Capital in 2017. Along with my Co-Founder and Co-Chairman, Avy Stein, we set out to build a truly disruptive next-generation digital-first multi-family office. Our vision was simple yet powerful: to reinvent wealth management. That’s exactly what we are doing.

We began by conducting a year-long research project to better understand why families like ours couldn’t find the comprehensive wealth management services we needed. We discovered that the holistic, personalized approach we desired didn’t exist. We knew we were not alone, and that there were other families like ours that deserved better. So, we decided to “build the house we want to live in.”

In just three years, Cresset has grown to over $12bn AUM, and is a 2020 Barron’s Top RIA Firm and one of the 25 largest RIAs in the country¹. We offer CEO Founders, Entrepreneurs, PE/VC GPs, business owners and families access to a comprehensive suite of family office services, deeply personalized wealth management, investment advisory, planning, credit advisory, philanthropy and concierge services through Cresset Asset Management, an SEC registered investment advisor. Cresset Partners, our private investing group, offers our clients direct access to real estate, private equity and other investment opportunities, including a leading Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) fund.

In summary, I was raised to be curious about the world around me, and that mindset still drives me today.
