Visiting Research Fellow at the 🇺🇳’s think tank in Bruges, researching diplomacy conducted above and below the Westphalian system. Of course, that also demands the study of Westphalian diplomacy too. Particularly smitten with public diplomacy and science diplomacy.

Always very happy to discuss my go-to topics: diplomacy broadly, (geo)politics, (geo)economics, culture, science, psychology, philosophy, and history.

On top of that, I’m a fan of a wide range of music; listening to, playing, and discussing it are all great pleasures. As a pastime, however, my favourite is probably a tie between researching, writing, and presenting pub quizzes on one hand, and participating in them on the other. Running and reading are also activités in which I passionately indulge.

While discussing the aforementioned things is never a chore, the thing that’s most exciting is the vast potential of “unkown unknowns” (to hesitantly quote Rumsfeld) that can be illuminated through this platform. In other words, I’m equally happy to discuss pretty much anything else. Expand the horizon.
