Durga is involved in the modelling world because they believe by being themself in front of the camera, they can inform change and challenge beauty standards while representing trans non-binary AFABs of color.

Durga started to experiment with gender identity through drag and performance art. Their drag name is 'Shakti' and they are the 1st performing drag king of India.

Durga's practice uses various mediums to express and inspire but the string that binds all that they do is being true to oneself and working from a place of love.
