Druce Wayne is a persona of the man Drew Wood. Located in Tulsa, he is an individual with intense desire and passion for creating art that showcases his journey and growth as an individual. Wayne grew up in church playing instruments and singing, however when he moved to college started poetry and transitioned into hip-hop from there. His authenticity can be shown in speaking of his financial struggles, search of self-love, or finding peace. He writes about his experience, interactions, and growth through all he has learned and will continue to do so. He is now Hindu, but desires to make music that relates to everyone. The main medium for him is hip-hop but he maintains influence from the many genres he listens to. Some of his influences include David Bowie, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, MF DOOM, Kurt Cobain, Jay Electronica, Kanye West, and Prince. Are you watching closely?
