Bio

Dr. Steven Renz is a former U.S. Marine and Law Enforcement professional with over 20 years of executive management experience. He is currently the Co-owner of GovCon Dynamics, LLC, and Executive Director/Owner of BNI Southeastern Virginia. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Entrepreneurial Leadership from Regent University and an MBA from Saint Leo University. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University.

Steve has successfully procured and managed over $130M in U.S. Government and commercial contracts in a variety of industries. He has been responsible for the source selection and execution of numerous government contracts throughout the world, and currently provides training and consultative services for small, medium and large firms and assists them in all aspects of government contracting. Over the past three years, Steve has assisted local small business owners in the procurement of over $150M in government contracts.

As an Executive Director of BNI Southeastern Virginia, Steve provides consultative services for over 500 business owners, executives and salespersons; and coordinates effective networking strategies and leadership training programs for organizations in more than 75 industries. Additionally, Steve serves as an adjunct professor at Regent University in the School of Business and Leadership, Carolina University, and South University in the MBA and Ph.D programs.

Steve’s goal is to assist entrepreneurs and small businesses in successfully navigating the government contracting arena and to ensure that they are fully prepared and qualified to capture, bid, and execute contracts in the federal, state and local arenas.
