I am here to connect and discuss the impact of poor mental health within families, specifically that of immigrant families facing communication and cultural clashes with their American born children.

👩🏻‍🏫 I am an Educator.  My career has integrated mental health in two sectors; 👩🏻‍⚕️psychosocial oncology and 🧑🏻‍💼family therapy.  

In both arenas I have served as an educator to incoming social workers.  I officially took the role of full time lecturer at Kean University in 2019.  I am hoping to connect with other educators to discuss best practices in elevating our students to be champions for mental health and advocate for equality of basic rights.
