Bio

Dr. Tonye Ogan has been a psychiatrist for many years and has worked in the UK and also Nigeria as a General Practitioner. She has worked in various capacities within the NHS including general psychiatry, old age psychiatry, crisis team, community psychiatry, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. For the past 5 years she has worked in the private sector, specialising in female psychiatric intensive care and female personality disorders and rehabilitation. She is also approved under section 12 of the mental health act and is currently working towards being an approved clinician under the act.
My main passion is to increase your awareness of your own mental health and empower you to take ownership of it.. Promoting mental well-being while recognising mental illness early and getting appropriate treatment.
I am also extremely passionate about the mental well being of the Black female and her needs through the different stages of her life.
