I am a humanitarian destined to change the landscape of STEM by including supports for the neurodiverse to be present and accepted in that space.

MY PLATFORM IS STEAAM-HITTS (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Agriculture, and Mathematics-Helping Inclusivity Through Technological Solutions)

I am the Academic Program Director for Chemistry at Morehouse College. I am also an Assistant Professor, an OpEd Public Voices of the South Fellow, Carnegie Fellow and Co-PI of a research project for training students in the Analysis of Plant Based Oils, primarily Cannabis and Tobacco.

I am the creator of Super Science Saturdays for neurodiverse and neurosurgical learners to engage in STEM together.

I coach my son Seth in baseball and am his Special Olympics coach. We have a charitable organization, Seth’s Soldiers. We raise money for Autism Speaks and others with autism to be able to attend summer camps and educational programs.

I am an inaugural member of the Community Advisory Council for Autism Speaks and am a Volunteer Advocacy Ambassador for Georgia with Autism Speaks in my 3rd year.
