🌟𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑱𝑨𝑰𝑷𝑼𝑹 𝑭𝑶𝑶𝑻 (𝑩𝒉𝒂𝒈𝒘𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒓 𝑽𝒊𝒌𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒕𝒂 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒊), 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅'𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒕 non-profitable, charitable 𝑵𝑮𝑶, (started by my father and still active, *Padmabhushan D.R Mehta*, 1961 batch IAS, Ex Secretary- Min. of Finance, Ex- deputy governer RBI and Ex Chairman SEBI) which provides FREE artificial limbs, assistive devices to differently abled.
🌟 Till date abled (fitted artificial limbs and assistive devices) * > 2.2 million patients, totally Cost free!*
⭐️Stanford university developed the Jaipur Knee for BMVSS (similar mechanical knee joint costs about $10,000 to $15,000 in the west) which costs $30-$40 to us and till date we have fitted 28,000 such joints *totally cost free*.
⭐️MIT-USA is developing an energy saving foot for BMVSS.
🌟Quoted as the 50 best inventions to help mankind by TIME magazine (Nov23rd issue) in 2009.
🌟Jaipur foot has ⭐️33 centres across the country and 6 international centres( Pakistan, Mauritius, Nepal, Manila, Congo,Tanzania).
⭐️Have held 101 on-the-spot camps in 40+ countries for the disabled.
🌟Our NGO also supports an NGO at Jodhpur who help single, unwed teenage mothers and widows.
⭐️We have a full fledged,state of the art, Physiotherapy centre, for the benefit of disabled and regular patients.
⭐️Print 3D sockets for amputees
