Bio
A visionary entrepreneur dedicated to researching, documenting and preserving African-American history, culture and contemporary events. As former Southeast Regional Director and Multi-Media Marketing Specialist with Rolling Out Magazine, Dr.Lord has a wide array of experience in the entertainment/film/photography industry. As a Savannah resident for 30 years, Dr.Lord has worked in the radio and film industry as an on-air personality with WEAS and WSOK on feature film productions including the award-winning "Glory". Dr.Lord has also produced "A Calling"; 30-minute documentary featuring W.W. Law detailing Black history in Savannah from the 1700's-present day.
As a photographer and crew member, Dr.Lord has worked on feature films from BET to Tri-Star Pictures to Tyler Perry Films and music videos from OutKast to Nelly. He has photographed civil rights leaders, community/church leaders and celebrities including Hosea Williams, Jesse Jackson, John Lewis , Rev. Dr. Joseph E. Lowery, Dr. Ben Jochannan, Kelly Price and Shirley Caesar, among others.
Most recent projects are centered around repatriation and relocation opportunities for members of the African diaspora. Experience in The Gambia and Senegal real estate markets and community development has led him to expand his scope of service across continents.
