Dr. Evona Lee Smith is a wife and mother of five children and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Dillard University at New Orleans as well as a Master of Science degree in nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Loyola University at New Orleans. Dr. Smith practiced as a family nurse practitioner until she was struck by a disabling condition which caused her to focus on her love for writing as an author. Dr. Smith is the owner of Strength Builders Publishing LLC and she is committed to writing books that assist children and adults in coping with challenging circumstances and assisting aspiring authors to fulfill their dreams of publishing.
