😃 I help kids and parents find role models and activities that lead to interests, careers and a happy adulthood.

How:

🚀 Dream It and Do It- A Children’s book with 100 short stories that feature modern day role models and careers. Winner of Moms Choice (Gold), The Royal Dragon Fly (1st place short stories) and Readers Choice (5 stars).

👩‍🏫 I provide teachers with the only career based lesson plans that involve real world role models. I bring the phycology of finding interests together with the practical application of story telling. (Launching on Teachers Pay Teachers in April).

🎙 I speak to parents through the news and other media on how to avoid asking, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” and instead focus on areas of interest using the RIASEC theory of career choice.

💭 I use Instagram (@Dream_itanddoit) to inspire parents to take easy and actionable steps to find the right fit for their child.

More about me:

🧐 I spent 15 years helping brands like Smirnoff, Pepsi, Raid, Scrubbing Bubbles, Blue Bunny Ice Cream and Bomb Pop develop new product ideas. Just before turning 40, I was laid off, a pandemic hit and I had my first baby- so I decided it was time to develop my own new product. I thought about all the things I wanted for my daughter and what I could make for her and I wanted to create a world where she was given lots of choices so she could find her own dreams. I wanted her to have people to look up to and options to consider beyond the 20 careers that the top 100 kids career books focus on.
