Meet Dr Will Mushi
He was born in a small town south east of Zimbabwe, called Chipinge. He the fifth in a family of seven. He did hos primary school at New Year’s Gift Primary School and received his high school education at Chibuwe High School 1999-2004
He studied Medicine at the University of Zimbabwe and graduated with an #MBChB in 2011.
He then did his internship at Mpilo Central Hospital and briefly worked in his home town giving back to his community at Chipinge District Hospital.
He also has masters of Medical Sciences in Human Anatomy which he obtained at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2015-16).
He took the Anatomy skills he obtained in #southafrica back to #zimbabwe where is currently working under the residency program in General Surgery whilst teaching Clinical Anatomy to medical students at Midlands State University in Gweru.
He has worked at multiple hospitals giving back to the community in need in his country and in Africa ,
He was also part of the doctors who worked at Kijabe Mission Hospital in Kenya, for Cleft Lip and Palate surgery.
He says ‘I have particular interest in Cleft lip and palate, cancer surgery, trauma and transplant surgery. I hope to become #Zimbabwe’s first transplant surgeon.
