Bio

Have Ph.D. degree in Botany from Bangalore University. Worked in Sami Labs Ltd., Rishi Herbal Technologies Pvt. Ltd. & Padmashree Institute of Management & Sciences. Also, Worked as Senior Consultant (Biotech) at Karnataka Innovation & Technology Society, Dept. of IT, BT and S&T, Govt. of Karnataka coordinating implementation of Programmes/Schemes initiated under Biotechnology Policy and involved in other activities undertaken by KITS in promoting growth of biotech sector in the State. Was PI/Co-PI of 5 major research projects funded by National & International agencies. Have published 13 research papers in peer-reviewed national and international Journals and edited a book published by Springer. Got a US patent & 2 Indian patents granted. 2 more are under various stages of granting. Currently working as General Manager at Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE), is a not-for-profit pan-India forum that represents the Indian Biotechnology Sector.
