Laron earned his Masters in Social Work at East Carolina University and is experienced providing counseling services to diverse populations of all ages in both medical and mental health settings. He is experienced in treating adolescents in both individual and group settings. Laron is a staunch advocate, with a history of working passionately on behalf of his clients to achieve justice, fairness, and opportunities. Laron continues to devote his time engaging and educating adolescents on responsible, pro-health behaviors. He is passionate about community outreach, educating and empowering diverse populations about sexual education and reproductive health. Laron enjoys working with adolescents and adults, focusing on substance abuse, sexuality and sexual health, trauma, and substance abuse. He relies on a Cognitive-Behavioral approach and strives to empower clients to explore their lives’ journeys by sharing their stories and courageously facing their challenges with his encouragement and support. Laron considers it an honor to be entrusted by clients, and he actively works to develop a strong therapeutic partnership to help clients manifest their goals.
