My passion is serving the construction industry. I am the founder and CEO of BuilderPay.

BuilderPay is a revolutionary way to pay your subcontractors and suppliers immediately, at the very granular task completion/approval level or product delivery level, using “enterprise” blockchain technology,

I am also the founder and CEO of Builderchain, Inc, a construction industry e-commerce platform built from the ground up using “enterprise” blockchain technology where creating real and significant business value through “digital transformation” is our first objective.

I joined our family residential construction company in 1983 as an operational officer and part owner responsible for accommodating our growth from constructing 100 single-family detached homes per year to over 500 homes per year. We were the largest home builder in Tennessee at the time.

I acquired, implemented and maintained the FAST Management System within our construction company. Implemented one of the first “command post” daily scheduling operations in the country at our construction company and leveraged that to construct over 500 homes a year. Acquired and staffed our CAD/BIM software application and implemented and maintained its use for all the homes we were constructing.

Studied “Constraint Management” at the Goldratt Institute in New Haven, Connecticut and applied those principles, including critical queuing and buffer reporting, directly to our rapidly growing homebuilding operations.

Although I do not administrate our software application, I do like to be intimately familiar with its utility. So, I will commonly take classes and exams on the various business applications our enterprise has vested an interest. This includes Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics administrator certifications. The latest in that endeavor is the Salesforce "Product Configurator" application which represents an incredible opportunity to vastly improve ecommerce order accuracy and speed.

Attended Herff College of Engineering as well as the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis. Member of the Audio Engineering Society and Acoustical Society. Owned and operated a subcontracting company designing and installing large sound reinforcement systems as part of the commercial contracting.
