British jewellery designer, creative director.
Dominic Jones’s debut 2009 collection won immediate acclaim from press around the world – including Anna Wintour – and his distinctive, ground-breaking jewellery quickly became sought after by fashion industry insiders from Karl Lagerfeld to Beyoncé. Fans of his work include David Bowie, Snoop Dogg, Madonna, Harry Styles, Rihanna, Florence Welch, Cara Delevingne, FKA Twigs, Tyler the Creator and Amy Winehouse.
The only jewellery designer ever to show on any fashion week official schedule (at London Fashion Week in 2014) and the first jewellery designer to win the British Fashion Council’s NewGen award – which Dominic went on to win the maximum five times between 2010 and 2014. He was named Jewellery Designer of the Year at the 2011 Elle Style Awards and his label was stocked by Barney’s, Selfridges and Liberty, Colette, 10 Corso Como, Matchesfashion.com, Net-A-Porter, SSense and Lane Crawford.
More than just a jewellery designer, Dominic is expert in all aspects of the global fashion business from product conception and marketing to branding, curation and management. As well as running his own label, he has consulted for Fabergé, ethical mining company Gemfields, Charlotte Olympia and Thierry Mugler and served as creative director at Astley Clarke and, most recently, Links of London. He delivered a bold, new vision for Links to appeal to a new generation luxury customer and his collections resulted in significant press attention and critical acclaim, as well as increased sales: his first collection for the brand was its fastest selling in eight years.
One of Dominic’s life-long passions is environmentalism. He has been an ambassador for conservation charity the World Land Trust for ten years, working on a range of successful projects including the Emeralds For Elephants collaboration which successfully funded the Elephant Corridor Appeal.
