I’ve learned so much from all the dogs in my life. I’m currently learning from an 8-year-old golden retriever named Apple.

𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲
🔸Apple is the first dog I’ve competed in canine sports with. As a team, we have earned nearly 50 AKC titles and dozens more non-AKC titles.

We compete in:
• agility
• nosework
• dock diving
• obedience
• rally
• treibball

🔸Apple is an awesome therapy dog.

We volunteer in hospitals, schools, corporations, and at special events. Apple has an innate ability to identify people who are stressed and she leans into them in an attempt to alleviate the stress.

🔸Apple is a canine model/set dog.

🔸𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮.

🔸Apple is raw fed. I make healthy single-ingredient meat treats for her. 🦴

𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲
🔸Apple’s vet is an integrative/holistic vet. I titer and only vaccinate when required. I don’t use pesticide on my lawn. I use chemical flea/tick treatments only when absolutely necessary.
