Denise Jordan Walker

For over three decades, Denise has worked as a celebrity publicist for some of the biggest names in entertainment including Bernie Mac, The Michael Jordan Foundation, Angela Bassett, Chaka Khan, The Temptations, Jesse Jackson Jr, Diane Sawyer, Billy Dee Williams, The award-winning artist Maysa, and countless others.

Over the course of her thirty-year career, Denise has also worked with top-tier companies including Paramount Pictures, Showtime Networks, Comedy Central, Lifetime Network, Time Warner, and Simon & Schuster. Denise brings an energy and professionalism to her clients that drives success. She’s gained national placement on television shows such as GMA, NBC Today Show, The View, BET, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, PBS, CBS Early Show, and the list goes on.

Denise is known in the radio industry for coining the phrase “Smooth Jazz” while working her first huge gig as a new radio host in Chicago......in the late 1980’s.

In comedy, Denise is known as the long time Chicago publicist for the late comedian Bernie Mac. She still represents
Mac’s widow, and the Bernie Mac Estate today.

Most recently, Denise is diving into the film industry to produce cutting-edge entertainment, including the upcoming Bernie Mac Biopic, a Bernie Mac Podcast, Bernie Mac Hilarious publication and more!
