FAA Licensed Private Pilot & Part 107 Operator, Owner of Different Perspective Media LLC & Atlas Overland Mapping LLC. Currently we are using drones to work with US BLM on fire prevention, NOAA on post hurricane research, the NTTA on accident reconstruction data to reduce fatalities, nationwide 3D modeling of Crown Castle cell sites, Dept of Energy on Solar energy capture rates, Hangar (now owned by Drone Deploy) on developing new 3D modeling technology… and that’s just a start. We are also working on using LIDAR at high altitudes to monitor protected wilderness, to provide better situational awareness to hotshot crews during rapidly changing wildfires and to monitor erosion under tree cover. I am currently investing in developing long range fixed wing drones that can survey 50 square miles in a single flight.
